Mobility & Stability For Sport

Improving your mobility/stability will serve many benefits if you play competitive or recreational sport.

Better joint mobility/stability = less dysfunction/imbalance in the way your body moves. So in sport training as well as fitness training, this will directly reduce your risk of picking up injuries.

So firstly, if you want longevity in your sport, both in training and in a competitive environment, building strength, stability and mobility at key joints will be huge.

Alongside injury prevention, improving your usable range of motion will transfer into many of the skill based aspects of your sport.

If we use Golf for example, if you improve your thoracic (upper back) rotational ability youโ€™ll generate faster swing speeds and ultimately more yardage.

If you build the mobility/stability in your lower body youโ€™ll be able to generate more power from your feet through to the club head at impact.

There are many sports that benefit from improved mobility/stability for example:

And many more!
