How we can help

Although arguably the most important variable for long distance running is building a strong aerobic capacity, supplementing your energy development with focused strength and conditioning is also crucial. Building up tolerance of specific joints (eg hips, knees and ankles) for repeated impact is key if one is to perform optimally and without injury.

Our training builds in sport specific and corrective exercises such as unilateral work to eradicate any imbalances you may have and improve mobility, joint function and enhance your biomechanics to improve your movement efficiency. Alongside this we help you develop your energy production and efficiency by training on all three of your main energy systems, Aerobic, Lactate (Anaerobic) and ATP-PC. One way we do this is to introduce you to optimal breathing mechanics to improve your aerobic efficiency at high intensities and at rest.

In Person Coaching

  • Nutrition Consultation including personalised calorie and macronutrient guidelines & your initial nutrition strategy.

  • 8-12 x PT sessions p/month based at Fortitude Fitness, Canary Wharf.
